This year we got to go back to the ICE! exhibit at the Gaylord Texan with Ashley and Jenna. We waited until the week before Christmas, which was not a good idea! VERY BUSY place the week before Christmas. After a 2 1/2 hour wait we finally got to go in, but it was awesome!
Back row: Kelsey and Ashley. Front: Emily and Jenna
We couldn't get tickets to go in until 1:30 (which actually turned into about 2-2:30) so we stopped in to decorate a few gingerbread men to kill some time.
The year the ICE theme was How the Grinch Stole Christmas. As you first walk in, you go through this igloo.
Emily, Jenna, Ashley, and Kelsey sporting their lovely parkas. Thank goodness they give out these long coats to wear. It's a whopping 9 degrees in the exhibit!
Randy and the Grinch.
The happy Who's. And yes its all made out of ice! the colors were so bright and vivid!

Emily and Jenna heading through the little tunnel to the slides.
The girls loved going down the slides. they have 2 made out of ice, of course. Randy and I even went down them.
The happy Who's singing together.
I was so glad to see that they still made the angel and manger scene at the end of the exhibit. It is so BEAUTIFUL! this angel has to be at least 10ft tall.
The manger scene has the shepherds, wise men, animals, and Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus. It's absolutely amazing!
One last picture at the end!
After grabbing some hot chocolate, we went to see the gingerbread house. These boots are totally made out of candy. And the little cabin is totally covered with gingerbread and then decorated with candy and cookies.
A good time was had by all. Next time we plan to go earlier and beat the crowds!
