Happy 2nd Birthday!!!

Today we hit another wonderful milestone at the McLean household, the quads turned 2!!! Big Sis,Jenna, having to get in on the picture with Ricky, Heath, Tyler, and Leah.

The kiddos were sporting their super cute shirts made by super sweet quad mama friend, Brandy. You can check her out on Facebook at Southern Chick Boutique. Anyway, I just wanted to get a picture posted in the blog on their actual birthday and now weeks later! We've had another wonderful year of surviving and thriving! The babies have grown and changed so much over this past year! It still amazes me to think how far they've come since they came into this world at 26 weeks and 3 days gestation. The terrible two's have started way before today! Even though some days they have worn be down even before lunch and I can't count how many times I have told them "no", it is all forgotten when you see them running, laughing, playing with one another, and running to give you hugs and sugars for no reason. One thing I love the most is when I pick them up and they put their head on my shoulder and pat me on the back or rub their little hand across my back like I do theirs. Or when out of the blue when Tyler comes running up to give you a big ole kiss. Or when they pretend they are leaving and they tell you bye and have to come give you sugars over and over. And at bedtime, I love to go to each one and tell them I love them and get one or as many more kisses as I can get. Then, I tell them I have to "squeeze them" one more time.
When people see you out in public you here alot, "You've got your hands full." or "I'm glad it's you and not me." Well, my hands may be full but so is my heart. And I'm glad God chose me to be the mother of these four precious angels. And some people do realize, "You are so blessed." That I am. Praise God that I am!
